Mission – Students Going Global makes educational tours abroad possible for high achieving, low-income inner-city students, aiming to enhance the academic, social, and personal lives of disadvantaged youth and inspire them to reach their full potential, encourage them to become lifelong learners and major contributors to their communities, open their eyes to a world of possibilities, and prepare them for success in today’s competitive, diverse, global economy.

Vision – With our increasingly global and diverse economy creating a need for the integration of global education, our vision is that within the next five years every high achieving, low-income Detroit area high school student will have the opportunity to experience a potentially life changing educational tour abroad.

Help us celebrate the official launch of Students Going Global, a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization. Show your support with a donation that will help send high achieving, low-income urban high school students on educational tours abroad.

With our increasingly diverse and global economy creating a need for the integration of global education, our vision is that within the next five years every high achieving, low-income Detroit area high school student will have the opportunity to experience a potentially life changing educational tour abroad before they graduate.

We believe the early exposure of high school students to cultural experiences in other countries will inspire them to reach their full potential, motivate them to become lifelong learners and major contributors to their communities, open their eyes to a world of possibilities and prepare them for success in today’s competitive, diverse, global economy.

Please connect with us to learn more about our mission. Visit our website at www.StudentsGoingGlobal.org ; Like us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/students.goingglobal; & Follow us on Twitter at www.twitter.com/globalgoing.

Very few inner-city youth have the opportunity to travel out of the country, but with your help, it is possible! The success of our efforts will be credited largely to donors like yourself who lend their names and their financial support.

Your initial donation will provide a strong start for Students Going Global and your ongoing support in subsequent years will lay the groundwork for many more academically motivated and deserving inner-city students to experience educational tours abroad. Every donation makes a difference!

Please consider becoming a valued supporter and contributing to the success of a student.

If you have any questions about making a gift or would like to learn more about our mission here at Students Going Global please contact us at (248) 595-8775 or giving@studentsgoingglobal.org

We thank you for your support of Students Going Global and for helping to expand the minds, hearts, and horizons of our youth.
